An intimate first-floor room wrapped in hand-cut green zellige, looking down into the orange-tree courtyard.
The smallest room in the house and, for many guests, the one they ask for again. Hand-cut green and ivory zellige runs to shoulder height, the ceiling is painted cedar, and a carved window seat looks straight down into the courtyard, where the orange trees and the plunge pool sit below you. The bed is a queen dressed in Fès cotton and a hand-woven wool blanket. The shower room is finished in sand-coloured tadelakt with a brass rain head, and the bath products are pressed argan from a women's cooperative near Essaouira. Best for one or two guests who will spend their days in the medina and their evenings on the roof.
Free cancellation until 72 hours before arrival. After that, or if you do not arrive, the first night is charged.
