Hard to believe the noise of the souks is two minutes away. The hammam ritual was the most relaxing two hours of my year. Small details everywhere — rose petals, fresh mint, the lanterns lit when we came back at night.
Lovely room opening straight onto the pool, and the most generous breakfast. The walk from the car park takes a few minutes, but the porter meets you, so it is easy. Would book the roof suite next time.
We travelled with our two children and the Dar Nour Suite was perfect: a room for them, a salon for us, and a bathroom like a private hammam. The staff arranged a desert dinner in the Agafay that the kids still talk about.
Exactly the riad we hoped for: quiet, beautifully restored and run with real warmth. The fire in the salon on a cold January night, then dinner on the roof wrapped in blankets. The cooking class with Fatima Zahra was the best morning of our trip.
We came for three nights and stayed four. The terrace at sunrise, with the Atlas white on the horizon, is something I will not forget, and breakfast under the orange trees was a daily ceremony. The team knew our names before we had unpacked.
